I haven't been very good about finishing things this week. I'm still hacking away at my second draft of good old Jerome, and for some reason the short stories have been disappointing me. I think my favorite one as of late is this one called "Lights." I think it enabled me to express what I seem to do best (atmosphere) while allowing me to practice the come in late leave early thing that apparently all good writers (especially screenwriters) are supposed to be good at. I really must start improving soon. My confidence as a writer is not triumphing as of late.
